About the Author
Peter Oldani graduated college from the University at Buffalo (UB) with a B.S. in biomedical engineering and worked as a neural engineering researcher through UB's school of dental medicine for 2 years. During that time he also worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) to gain hands on experience in emergency medicine.
Through his work with Rural Metro Medical Services he completed active shooter training as part of New York State’s initiative to prepare civilian organizations for disaster response.
Peter has also been certified in maritime survival, first aid, and firefighting techniques through SUNY Maritime College at Fort Schuyler. Today, apart from his entrepreneurial ventures, he continues part-time work for the University at Buffalo as a volunteer biosurfaces researcher.
